Web6 de jun. de 2024 · I went for the SU HIF44 option. I’ve bought tools from them before and they are of very high quality… as is there conversion kit. They’d been posting development of some of the parts on the Series 2 forum for a while and it became clear, this was the way to go. Its not an external leak and I can only presume the oil is getting into the inlets and burnt off - and i have my suspicions its mainly at tickover/idle. Is this possible and if so, how do i fix it!! Is it just a new damper rod or more serious?
Webalternative updated version with brass/bronze rod which flows and wears better. Fits HS2,HS4 and HS6 carbs but not HIF range. CA90 is ethanol tolerant. I did make a small adjustment to the jet bridge position (the 2mm), but not sure it was enough to make a substantial change.
